In Spring 2008 when dōTERRA began, they started out with 10 essential oil blends and 25 single oils.  The founders dream was to make a nutritional supplement that matched the exceptional quality of their essential oils.  In fact, they gave their product developer a budget without limits, and asked him to make the nutritional supplement of his dreams!   At that time, Rob Young, who incidentally came up with the name 'dōTERRA', had made nutritional supplements for several companies for many years.
